House number 20 was built in 1872 by merchant N.V. Bulgakov
by architect G.I. Mayatsky.
In 1890, the new owner, also a merchant, N.E. Serikov rebuilds it according to the project of architect V.G. Krichevsky, and in the 1910s, a new restructuring was already carried out by merchant A.L. Lavrov, designed by the architect, presumably A.I. Rzhepishevskogo or I.I. Tenne. This house is listed as an architectural monument number 298.

Died November 15, 1952 in Caracas (Venezuela), buried in the city of Bound Brook, (New Jersey, USA).
