Monument to V. M. Blakitny on Chernyshevskaya Street
On a small, unnamed square, at the intersection of several streets near the post office, a monument to the Ukrainian writer V. M. Blakitny (Ellan) was unveiled on May 5, 1931. The bust was crafted from bronze, while the pedestal was made of black Ukrainian labradorre dogs (sculptor: M. A. Novoselsky). Due to this, the square was named after Blakitny.
Later, the monument was removed, and the name of the square was lost.
