Mount Smotrych, also called Smotryak, is one of the peaks of the Ukrainian Carpathians, located in the southeastern part of the Montenegrin mountain range, on the territory of the Carpathian National Nature Park. Its height is 1898 meters, it is located at a distance of 1.5 kilometers to the east of the main ridge, which is connected by a gentle saddle. The places here are very beautiful, at one time one of the clips of the Ukrainian singer Ruslana was even filmed. From the top of Smotrya you can see a unique view of the mountains supporting the celestial arches, which are drowning in a dense haze of clouds in places.

One of the most interesting places on Mount Smotrich is the Ear of the Earthen. It can be reached by a steep path.

These places have long been considered sacred. The quaint rocks of Smotrich, which nature has given fantastic form, some are reminded of unusual animals, and some even call them "churches." Those who plan to go on an excursion to the summit, it is necessary to take into account that their walk will be long and complex.
