The four-domed church in Kosovo is built in one tier of natural wood. To the central part of the building are adjacent several additional rooms, which are made in the same style as the temple. On the adjacent territory of the territory in different directions neat pavement paths diverge, there are benches for rest. The wooden church has a cross-shaped layout, which indicates its belonging to the school of Hutsul folk architecture.

Patriarch of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Vladimir Romanyuk brought great popularity to the church in Kosovo. In 1990, he took monastic vows here.

The Church of the Nativity of John the Baptist is an architectural monument of local significance. Currently, the church is working according to its purpose and is open for free visiting.
