Aleshkovsky Monastery, Tsiurupinsk
In the central part of the city of Tsyurupinsk of the Kherson region are the ruins of the once famous women's monastery. The monastery was built in 1900. Thanks to the efforts of three sisters of nuns in the southern part of the Taurus region the first monastery for womenappeared. The abode was sufficiently enriched. During the Soviet era, several buildings were converted into living quarters, and everything else, like many other temples and monasteries, was destroyed.
Today near the ruined abode there is a temple of Saint Nina, in which the relics of the blessed Domniki Aleshkovskaya, revered in the south of Ukraine, are preserved. Domna at the age of 15 years, together with her sisters, settled in the Aleshkovsky monastery, and soon the relatives discovered her the gift of clairvoyance, thanks to which the blessed one warned against adversity. Domnika was the last nun of the Aleshkovsky monastery. In 2009, it was ranked among the saints.
