Nikolaevo-Uspensky Cathedral, Kolomiya
Kolomiya is a small Hutsul town with a very rich history, therefore it is not surprising that it is here that the Nikolayev-Uspensky cathedral rises. It is quite a fresh religious building, built in 1997 with the help of the famous architect in Kolomyia Victor Matsay, and the artist from Ivanovo Goloshin put his hand to creating the interior. This cathedral is one of three local Orthodox churches and refers to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
Tourists wishing to visit this amazing place will be pleased to learn that here they are quite calm about the parishioners and visitors with their heads uncovered and in jeans, for you open the doors all day.
And still, the street on which the cathedral is located is so narrow that you will have to try very hard to take a picture against the background of this architectural structure.
