Naryshkin-Shuvalov Manor in Talnoye

Probably, there are no people in the post-Soviet space who have never heard the names of Pototsky, Shuvalov, or Naryshkin. People who carried such names made history. Part of his wife's dowry was Shuvalov, she was the granddaughter of Sofia Pototskaya and the daughter of Count Naryshkin, there was a land in Talnoye with an uncomplicated building. The foundation of the estate was laid Pototsky in 1725, continued the construction of Shuvalov, and his daughter Olga graduated.

The building consists of two parts: residential and economic. The architecture of the residential part of the building resembles a medieval French castle with two towers and a tower, on which  The coat of arms of Shuvalov, a magnificent entrance, a wide porch and carved handrail is depicted. The economic part of the house is more like an English building with massive beams supporting the ceiling.

In the estate there were tombstones of Sofia, Paul and Peter Shuvalov, as well as the ruins of the crypt of Sofia Potocki.
