Age of the canyon is two billion years. The time of its formation falls on the era of melting glaciers. Sharp warming in those times contributed to the chaotic movement of glaciers, resulting in the formation of very interesting reliefs.

The Tiasminsky Canyon is a unique combination of the forest-steppe zone, huge rocks and luscious greenery. The height of the canyon rocks sometimes reaches 12-15 meters. The canyon inhabits more than fifty species of mosses and plants. Here you can find hawthorn, field maple and various kinds of ferns.

The Tiasmini Canyon is a unique facility for scientific research. Every year it is visited by hundreds of tourists from different parts of Ukraine and neighboring countries.
