Museum of local lore, Buchach
In the central part of a small town Buchach a museum of local lore opened in 1982. The museum building stands near another local landmark - town hall.
The exposition of the archaeological objects of the museum is a collection of various exhibits relating to the period of Trypillian culture. Ethnographic exhibition tells the story of the peasant way of life of the late 19th century on the territory of Ukraine.
In the museum you can see various antiques: clothes, shoes, furniture, household items, women's jewelry, dishes, etc. Numerous museum exhibits reflect the history of the formation and development of the town of Buchach. Great interest among the visitors of the museum is also caused by the mock-up of the town castle of the same name.
Attention visitors of the museum of local lore are also presented a unique exposition dedicated to the creative achievements of the famous sculptor and native of Buchach George Pinzel.
