You can learn more about this region at the Historical Museum, which was founded in 1984. Now the Obukhov Museum is located in the building of the central library. The museum consists of 11 rooms that illuminate the history of Obukhov in chronological order. Everything starts from the hall, where the archaeological finds of the Mesolithic times are presented. Very interesting is the exposition of things and instruments of labor, which historians attribute to Trypillian and Chernyakhov cultures. These mysterious objects instill in the heart a barely perceptible sense of mystery. The exhibits of these ancient cultures take us to the distant past, as if you are very near.

No less interesting is the hall dedicated to the Cossacks. On Obukhov lands, all Ukrainian hetmans rode on their quick horses, great battles were taking place. In the museum there are several dioramas, in which very interesting and important stages in Obukhov's history are vividly displayed. One of them - "Trypillya in 1919", which illustrates the struggle of peasants with the Bolsheviks. The largest in the area of ​​the Great Patriotic War. Here one of the turning points in the war is clearly presented: the crossing of the Dnieper.
