As a result, the medieval castle was destroyed. On its ruins in the 18th century a new elegant palace was built, built in the Baroque style. It was distinguished by its magnificent decor and rich decoration. Alas, the castle beauty was destined to burn when the lightning hit the palace. To fight for his recovery did not.

In Soviet times, the remains of the castle were slowly dismantled for construction materials. Until now, only a part of the defensive walls, the remains of the palace and the powder tower have been preserved. Today, all the picturesque ruins of the ancient fortification, known as the Rock under the Zbuch, attract lovers of antiquity from all over Ukraine.
