Granite outcrop, Boguslav
Not far from the capital of Ukraine is a small town Boguslav, founded in 1032 by Prince Yaroslav the Wise. This town stands on the river Ros, which for many millennia paved its way through strong rocks, forming picturesque granite banks.
It is here that the famous monument of nature is located - the Boguslav granite outcrop, or the so-called granite "pit". If from the square of Yaroslav the Wise move down, following the stream of the Ros River, then approximately one kilometer you can observe spectacular granite blocks. Scientists suggest that the age of these rocks reaches 2 billion years. Chaotically scattered boulders form a whole granite island, washed by Rosy's two sleeves. Rocks of red and gray granite reach a height of 10-12 m and form a canyon with a length of 1.5 km. Here you can often see picturesque river rapids, among which there is a deep bath, the very "pit". If the weather permits, you can swim in it, although this bath is not the only one of its kind. In fact, the "pit" is three and they are not far from each other, at a distance of about 100 meters.
Some locals call the Bohuslav granite outcrop a place of strength. Many of those who visited this place, have experienced a burst of positive emotions: in the water, as if all experiences and problems dissolve, a person finds inner peace and joy. Boguslav is a great place to relax, where you can restore strength in just a couple of days.
