Museum of local lore, Great Sorochintsy

Mirgorod regional museum of local lore is in Great Sorochintsy. It was created on the basis of the Great Folk Museum in 2008. This museum is located in the former children's library in a two-story building, to which a carved wooden veranda was later attached.

The museum covers the whole history from ancient times to the present day of the Mirgorod region. The museum presents: a unique model of the Great Sorochinsky Spaso-Priobrazhenskaya church of the 18th century, a model of the house of the Ukrainian peasant of the 14th century, tools of the 18th-19th centuries, Ukrainian clothing and household items and many other exhibits.
