Monument to Zubkovsky, Myrhorod

And. Zubkovsky is a doctor and the founder of the resort in Mirgorod. In 1998, on the 150th anniversary of his birth, a monument was opened in his honor.

I. Zubkovsky was a public figure and a doctor. He researched and proved the importance of curative mineral water"Mirgorodskaya".  Therefore, in 1917, the first hydropathic clinic was opened, in which there were only 5 baths.

"To the founder of Mirgorod resort, zemstvo doctor and public figure from grateful fellow countrymen" - it was such wonderful words of gratitude that were written on the bas-relief of I. Zubkovsky.  The architect of the monument was S. Russian, and the artist - M. Tsis.
