Kovpak Museum, Kotelva

In the homeland of S. Kovpak in Kotelva on the 120th anniversary of the hero of the guerrilla movement , the Kotelvsky People's Museum of the Hero of the Soviet Union S. Kovpak was opened in 2007.He was the commander of the legendary partisan movement, passed the entire Great Patriotic War from Putivl to the Carpathians.

In the school in which he once studied and placed the museum of Kovpak(now, Kotelevskaya gymnasium No. 1 named after S. Kovpak). About the history of the region tells the first department in the museum - "Kotelevschina - the birthplace of S. Kovpak." And his personal belongings during the war are represented in the second section of the museum. The museum also stores weapons of the Second World War.
