Lake Almaznoe

An artificial lake located in the Desnyanskiy district of the city of Kiev, appeared during the construction of a residential area of ​​Troyeshchyna in the 1980s. Earlier, the peat bog was located on the site of the lake. The lake is a former quarry. The peat, which was mined here, was used for washing up the territory during construction.

Examinations that are conducted here every year, show that drinking water is even at a depth of 3 meters.

On the shores of the Diamond Lake there is a pine forest. This is a favorite vacation spot for residents of the area and all of Kiev. Here you can fish, ride a bike and just relax with the whole family.
