Chubinsky Farm

In Kiev there are many places that not all indigenous people know about. And in vain! After all, many attractions have a very interesting history.

For example, the landscape reserve "Chubinsky Farm". This natural park was created on the site of the former manor of a very famous person in Ukraine. Pavel Chubinsky - poet, folklorist and author of the words of the anthem of Ukraine. In 1862, the poet's father built a house here and broke a huge garden. In 1994, the territory of 10 hectares was declared a reserve of national importance.

The place is really unique. On the territory of the park, there are remains of oak forests that once covered most of the left-bank Ukraine. Here grow trees, the age of which exceeds 300 years. In addition to oaks, there are willows, maples, wild pears and birches growing in the park. The nature here is just fabulous! I can not believe that this park is located within the boundaries of a modern, developed city. A memorial sign to Pavel Chubinsky is installed in the park. Recently the chapel of St. Paul was built.

Find "Chubinsky Farm" is very easy. From the metro station "Kharkivska" you need to get on a shuttle bus to the stop "Alexandrovka". Then you should cross the highway and you will see the sign of the reserve.
