Temple of the icon of the Mother of God Assistant in childbirth

Icon "Assistant in childbirth" appeared in the city of Serpukhov in Russia. It happened in 1993, the icon acquired the status of miraculous. In 2002, on the first floor of one of the maternity hospitals in Kiev, a temple was opened in a specially rented building.

In 2002, on the first floor of one of the maternity hospitals in Kiev in a specially rented building was opened a temple. In the same year, the first moleben was held in the church. Opened with the blessing of Metropolitan Vladimir of Kiev. Since 2006, regular worship services are held in the church. In 2012, the temple was decorated with a dome and a cross, and the next year a wooden churchdecorated with a dome was opened in the territory of the Kyiv Maternity Hospital No. 1. In honor of the feast of Easter the temple was consecrated. The main shrines of the temple are icons from the holy Mount Athos.

The temple works daily from 08:30 to 17:00, parishioners can pray, put a candle. On Fridays and Saturdays, solemn divine services are held in the church. The temple of the icon of the Mother of God "Assistant in childbirth" is a unique temple in Ukraine.
