St. George's Church, Berestechko

St. George's Church - a monument of architecture of national importance. It was built to the century of the Battle of Berestechko in 1761. There is a temple on a hill, above the Styr River.

The church is completely built of wood and painted in a sky-blue color.

In Soviet times, despite the nationwide trends, the church was not subject to any changes. The painting survived to this day in its original form, the interior decoration of the temple was not damaged either. The services were renewed in the 1970s. The iconostasis was returned to the church, which was kept all the time in Lutsk.

In 2011, the church celebrated its 250th anniversary: ​​a solemn service was held, many townspeople came.
