Gorokhov Park was founded in the early 19th century by the town mayor F. Tarnovsky. This large park complex, preserved to this day, is a monument of landscape art. The park area is 12 hectares.

The park area is 12 hectares. On its territory are collected  unique, exotic plants. The collection of the park includes 60 species of rare bushes and trees. Gorokhovsky Park is divided into alleys. The convenient layout of the park helps the tourist to enjoy the beauty of nature and not to think about how to find a way.

Each season the park is decorated in its own way. In winter everything is shrouded in a white canvas of snow, immersed in sleep and serenity. In the spring the park is filled with lively vital energy and funny birds chirping. In summer, you can hide from the scorching heat and city bustle. Autumn showered the park with gold and purple.  Romantic place is not found!

In the center of the park Tarnovsky built a palace. The building is designed in style  empire. In the palace was kept a collection of antique sculptures. The park also has a monument to commemorate the heroically dead soldiers in 1941-1945.
