Olympic Village

In August 1980, a delegation from the United States arrives in Moscow in preparation for the Olympic Games. To “clear” the capital of undesirable citizens, they are all sent to various sanatoriums and resorts, simply to remove them from the city. Arseny, the winner of the Tchaikovsky Olympics, is also included in this list. The village of Protasov becomes his place of exile, where he spends his days engaging in wild revelry by the lake, with a bottle of port wine in his hand. At this very time, a correspondent from “Radio Liberty” decides to visit Moscow. William Smith is eager to interview Arseny. Upon learning where he is actually located, Smith decides to go meet him. Naturally, agents from the KGB are also following them. And that’s when the real fun begins… Alongside Arseny’s great Olympic achievements, a sort of “own little Olympics” unfolds in the village of Protasov. Will Arseny manage to escape this place of exile?
