The plant has become one of the lowest-cost steel producers in the world. The success of the enterprise is due to the strong human and technological potential. In May 2014, the plant turned 127 years old. Here, new types of products are constantly being developed and manufactured, and advanced technologies are introduced. Evraz plays a huge role in the country's economy.

You can trace the process of formation and development of Petrovka byvisiting the People's Museum of the history of the plant, which is located in the administrative building. It is recognized as one of the best public museums in the region, and its exhibitions and expositions repeatedly took first place. The museum's funds number more than 20 thousand items that cover the history of the enterprise from the end of the 19th century to the present day. Annually it is visited by more than 10 thousand people, including visitors from near and far abroad.

The People's Museum of the history of the plant is located at Kalinina Avenue, 67. It works on weekdays from 8:00 to 16:30.
