Monument to deer in Shevchenko park

The city of Dnepropetrovsk is famous for its many unusual monuments and sculptures. Among them, one can safely refer the composition that adorns the park named after Taras Shevchenko. According to legend, the Monument to deer originated here on the initiative of the director of one of the factories, who convicted his wife of marital infidelity, after which he left her alone with two children.

The inhabitants of the city believe that a deer and two deer are able to protect themselves from treason, it is only necessary to rub deer horns.
