Park them. Lazar Globa
Lazar Globa sold the Lower Garden to Prince Potemkin, and he himself continued to equip the Upper Garden, planting many fruit trees there. They say that the Cossack lived more than a hundred years. On the probable place of his burial, a monument was erected. It is next to the old oak tree that planted the Globa. The garden passed from hand to hand, and each contributed to its development. Thus, in the time of Alexander I, rare seedlings of trees and flowers were brought from all over the world, and in 1938 a summer water theater was founded. It was built in the shape of a shell on a pond of natural origin. Today in this theater you can see a variety of concerts and performances, competitions and festivals. At the same time around the pond was built the first in Ukraine children's railway, which is still functioning. Your children will be delighted! They can also take a walk in the playground, feed the swans or ducks that live in the pond. It is a pity that a beautiful monument to Samson, the mythical hero who adorned this pond, was lost, today in his place is a monument to the Little Prince from the work of Antoine Exupery.
Observing a long tradition, every year in the park hold exhibitions of gardening. There are amusement rides and numerous entertainment facilities. Previously, the park was called Chkalov. And in 1992 the park was named after its founder - Lazar Globa. Visit this beautiful place with family or friends. There is always a festive atmosphere here.
