Monument to the trampled shoes
The city of Kiev is rich in bizarre sculptural compositions. One of such interesting works was the monument to "The Footbridge".
On March 10, 2011, a monument was erected opposite one of the offices of the Kiev insurance company, its full name was "Boots of an insurance agent who trampled them in search of clients". Sculptors Andrei and Petr Ozimenki worked on its creation for four months. According to them, this monument is dedicated to people of all professions who had to wipe their shoes, realizing their own ideas, plans and achieving professional success.
Bronze shoes are designed for a giant 5.5 meters tall, shoes are equal to 92 feet and weighs up to 80 kilograms. After the shoes were placed on Belorusskaya Street, the townspeople and tourists gathered around it, wishing to try on worn-out boots. Now in Kiev "Boots of an insurance agent" are considered a symbol of career growth. They say that if you try them on, then every case started will be successful or there will be promotion.
The monument to the "Boots of the insurance agent who trampled them in search of customers" was installed on Belorusskaya Street, 3 near the Lukyanovskaya metro station.
