Monument to the Heroes of the Defense of Sevastopol in 1854-1855

In 1955, Sevastopol Park was opened in Dnepropetrovsk and a monument to the heroes of Sevastopol was erected. The memorial was built at the burial site of 40,000 defenders who heroically defended the city in the period from 1854 to 1855 during the Crimean War. After the military events, Sevastopol became a true symbol of courage and valor.

The author of the project is the architect O.B. Petrov.
