Towards the south, the rocks gradually transform into a smooth part with picturesque beams and steppe. In the 16th century, there were well-fortified military camps (sieges), kurens, churches (the Cossacks were strongly Christian believers), and later a shipyard was built, where the Cossacks and Russian masters, under the leadership of Vice Admiral N. Senyavin, built a rowing fleet.
The Museum of Ukrainian Cossacks presents the Historical and Cultural Complex "Zaporizhzhya Sich", where stagecoaches and farm buildings of Cossacks, fortifications with cannons, huts and much more, which will undoubtedly help you to feel the atmosphere of those times. And panoramas of battles and charges of Cossacks are executed up to thin trifles.

You can see and even talk with real Cossacks! If hungry, in the cafe "Kozatskaya zaloga" nourishingly and deliciously fed.
On the territory of the museum there are also remains of authentic fortifications, household items, coins, weapons, guns ... and granite plates will complement the sense of movement by the cave. Ancient burial mounds, Scythian plates, stone compositions in the open air are arranged so subtly and unobtrusively, as if they were not touched by a finger before. The island is a neat road with signs and beautiful signs, they will give an occasion for a smile on your face.
