14 photos won in the contest of travel-photographers National Geographic

The judges had a hard time: 15 000 entries from travelers from all corners of the Earth and only three nominations - m. nature, people and cities. The most important prize went to Sergio Tapiro Velasco from Mexico for his magnificent shot of a lightning bolt through a cloud of ash above the volcano.
