What is the Force?

Strength is the unique linking element of the saga, without it history would not make sense and logic. However, nobody can explain the origin and essence of the Force itself. Obi-Wan Kenobi, with his philosophical attitude, explained the essence of the Force through the existence of a certain energy field that permeates and connects the universe, it is supposedly created by all living beings, but only a few know how to use it, carrying Good or Evil. Beautiful, but too poetic - I would like to know the details, the history of the first Chosen, the origin of the Jedi Order, the meaning of training, if, for example, Rei simply took the sword and became a real warrior. George Lucas tried to explain the Force to the midi-chlorians, but it would be better if he did not do it, it turned out clumsily. Perhaps Luke, having taken up meditations in hermitage, figured it out and explained everything to us?

The Jedi Prophecy

The Jedi prophecy, first mentioned in the prequel trilogy, is one of the most controversial creations of George Lucas. Moreover, no one knows who, when and under what circumstances it was formulated, so also its meaning is vague, if not contradictory. The prophecy allegedly speaks of the Chosen One, who should bring the Force to equilibrium, and Qui-Gon Jinn, discovering the young Anakin on Tatooine, believes that this particular guy will become "That One". That's only at the time of "Return of the Jedi" meaning of the prophecy famously changed to the complete destruction of the Sith. What is this balance? To some extent, "balance" can be considered that after the death of Vader Luke also decided to retire, but in the "Awakening of the Force" we again see Kylo Ren and Snowka on one side and Ray on the other. So what's the prophecy still? And will it ever be fulfilled?

Origin of Anakin Skywalker

No matter how much George Lucas was tortured by journalists and fans, the author of Star Wars never answered directly to the question of who is the father of Anakin Skywalker, so all we have is the vague phrase of Shmi's mother: "There is no father. " Qui-Gon Jinn, a Jedi schismatic, assumed that under certain circumstances the midi-chlorians could create life out of nothing, so while the main version of Anakin's origins remains "mystical." Master Yoda is one of the most popular characters. However, even after his appearance in five paintings and a mass of accompanying tapes and comics, we do not know anything about his origin. No one even knows with what planet it is and whether there are other "iodine" on it. Obviously, Yoda appeared in the Star Wars universe long before the events of the saga, but such a secret past is suggestive - either they hide something terrible from us, or simply do not know what to tell. Is there a planet where eared green dwarfs run through the woods like Ewoks? Do they have the abilities of Yoda, or is it special? Why was this race never shown at meetings of the Galactic Senate? The authors keep the intrigue, apparently, hoping to someday talk about the hero in the solo picture, but we would like to know now.

For a character who appears in just a couple of scenes, and then gets stupid, Boba Fett has too many fans, so that the franchise writers just get rid of him. As you must remember, the "bounty hunter" disappeared into the mouth of Sarlakka, but in such a simple death none of the fans of the "Star Wars" believes, according to fans, Fett survived and continued his business. Indirectly, this is confirmed by the plans of Disney to do a solo film about the popular hero, although the picture can tell the prehistory of the "bounty hunter", as well as the mention of Bobet Fett in the book "Star Wars: Consequences", the action of which is unfolding in the time interval between "Return of the Jedi "And" Awakening of the Force. One of the most interesting riddles is related to the mechanical characters of the saga - robots C-3PO and R2-D2. The audience remembers that in the finale of "Revenge of the Sith", both memories were obliterated, and this at the very least explains why in the "New Hope" and the subsequent scenes of the series neither one nor another remembers the events before meeting Luke. But why did not Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader remember the old acquaintances, because they had not spent a month or even a year with two robots? Fans attribute this to the fact that half-mechanical after the burns, Anakin is devoid of emotions and simply did not show himself at the next meeting with C-3PO and R2-D2, and Obi-Wan decided to keep his knowledge secret until better times, but these excuses are very weak . We were not only convinced that Ben was the son of Khan and Leah, we saw a mirror image of Luke's struggle with Darth Vader - unable to convince the father to go over to his side, the son is forced to kill him. But what made Kaylo Rena go under the command of Leader Snowk? After all, we know that Ben started his training with Luke Skywalker? What events made Rena change sides? What could become a trigger and which "cookies" could offer the First Order? There are more questions than answers, and we very much hope that in "The Last Jedi" these questions will be given time, and the answers will be no less convincing than in the case of Anakin.

Curiously, it's not even that the Jedi broke up with his main instrument (it's like losing a weapon), and it's not that Luke does not look for a sword, as if he wanted to part with it, but the desire of Maz to transfer him into the wrong hands. The "Awakening of the Force", desperately trying not to leave blank spots in the history between the events of the sixth and seventh films, nevertheless gave rise to one of the main mysteries of the saga, which the authors will sooner or later have to answer: why did not we know anything about Supreme Leader Snouka still? Although little is known about Snowcock, it is obvious that at the time of the events of the original trilogy he was already present in some form, and chances are great that this is an original character, and not some degenerated hero in the past. However, why did his life and activities not overlap with the events of previous galactic wars? He sat out aside when the Galactic Empire came to power? He hid when the Death Star fell? Perhaps, in those times he did not possess the Force? Then how did he get it? Disney, we need answers!
