Our team’s performance at the World Cup football tournament holds little hope for impressive results. However, perhaps we will get to see some excellent Russian football in a film – a sports drama that marks the directorial and screenplay debut of Danila Kozlovsky. Kozlovsky also plays the main role in this film; he portrays a famous footballer who, after a scandalous incident, ends his playing career and retires to a remote area to train a local team and try to regain his self-respect. According to the trailers, Kozlovsky’s character will play a key role in promoting sports in Novorossiysk. The film stars Andrey Smoljakov, Vladimir Ilin, Irina Gorbacheva, Viktor Verzhbitsky, Olga Zueva, as well as renowned footballers Dmitry Sychev and Alan Gatagov.

Cast: Andrey Merzlikin, Aglaia Tarasova, Alexander Tutyin, Sergey Stukalov, Anton Filipenko

The film "Tanks" tells the story of two experimental T-34 tanks during their test drive in 1940. These tanks were designed to prove that the new combat vehicles were ready for mass production. Mikhail Koshkin, the designer of the T-34, participated personally in this test drive. The film depicts how the tank crew face challenges such as rough terrain and German infiltrators, turning their journey into a heroic adventure.

Director Kim Druzhinin, who directed the successful film "28 Panfilovtsians", directed "Tanks". He continues his exploration of the Stalin era in this new work. Once again, the story is largely fictional, although it is inspired by real events. The test drive of the T-34 tanks in 1940 was an important event that tested the capabilities of these new vehicles.

The same thing happens to several other dangerous animals, and the protagonist must save America from these monsters. The lead role was played by Dwayne Johnson; other cast members included Naomi Harris, Malin Akerman, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The film was directed by Brad Peyton, who also directed the disaster movie "The San Andreas Fault."

  • Recently, the British black actor David Oyelowo, who portrayed Martin Luther King Jr. in a recent film, tried his hand at a completely different type of movie than the historical biopic "Selma." Nash Edgerton's "Dangerous Business" is a criminal comedy about a company preparing to launch marijuana pills on the market. The protagonist, along with his bosses, travels to Mexico to start production, but they end up in the hands of a drug cartel that has no need for legal competitors. As the story unfolds, things get increasingly complicated... The cast includes Joel Edgerton (the director's brother), Charlize Theron, Amanda Seyfried, Tandy Newton, and Charlotte Copple. What an impressive lineup for a low-budget film!
