Magnificent air photos of Venice
Venice is one of the most photographed cities in the world, so it is extremely difficult to get unique pictures of this place. Still, the photographer and architect Dimitar Karanikolov succeeded.
People often think that the best views of Venice can be captured from a boat, but Karanikolov makes incredible photos of the city's architecture on the water using drones.
>The photographer wakes up early to catch the sunrise, and uses the drone to capture the marvelous panoramas of the city. "Aerial photography allows you to look at the world from top to bottom. This is possible only with the help of a drones or a satellite, - Dimitaru says. - These images are very architectural, similar to the plan and very different from the human everyday perspective.
In the color palette of the photo, slightly faded brownish tones dominate, which perfectly accentuate the contrast tightly pressed together a friend of terracotta roofs, waves of blue canals and white marble facades. Frames of Karanikolov remind of the ancient air maps of Venice, such as "View of Venice" by Jacopo de Barbari.
