Climate of Sevastopol

The climate of Sevastopol is relatively mild, marine, close to subtropical.

Has its own peculiarities in two microclimatic subzones: moderate continental in the foothills, moderately continental with features subtropical Mediterranean type on the south-east coast. The average monthly air temperature during the year is always positive. The coldest month is February (+2,6 ° C), the warmest month is July (22-24 ° C). In the year 238 frost-free days. In some years, July is very hot: in 1971 the thermometer showed +38 C, in 1999 - up to +45 ° C in the sun.
