Magic Mountain Lodge – a volcanic hotel nestled in the pristine forests of Patagonia.

Among the most innovative and original hotels in the world, one that stands out notably is the Magic Mountain Lodge – which translates to “Magic Mountain Wigwam”. This name is derived from a local legend according to which, in the pristine forests of Patagonia, there exists a magical mountain that grants every wish of those who visit it. In my opinion, these are all just myths, but nonetheless, the hotel itself is truly incredible.

From the top of the hotel, a stream of water rushes down like from the mouth of a volcano.

The entrance to the hotel is only accessible via a suspended wooden bridge.

Inside the hotel, it’s warm and cozy.

At the Forest Table restaurant, you can enjoy local cuisine.

Here, you can take baths in tubs made from the trunks of huge trees.

The hotel is located in the private Huilo Huilo Reserve in Chile. The Magic Mountain Lodge has 13 rooms, and access to the hotel is only possible via a suspended wooden bridge—adding an extra touch of excitement for its guests.

Equally unique is the interior design of the hotel. Inside this “volcano,” guests will find a jacuzzi, a sauna, the Forest Table restaurant (one of the best in Chile), a bar, and huge panoramic windows that offer stunning views of the real volcano Villarica and the surrounding tropical rainforest.

Even in winter, the views here are just as breathtaking.

The views from the hotel windows are simply incredible.

You can even see the real volcano, Villarica, from here.

As for entertainment, this Chilean hotel offers rafting, mini-golf, and walks through the reserve, where guests can encounter wild animals such as pumas, iguanas, lizards, toucans, condors, and more. Guests can also enjoy exotic baths in tubs made entirely from the trunks of giant trees. While some may find this activity a bit boring, for those who prefer a peaceful and relaxing vacation, this is the perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The cost of staying at the magical Magic Mountain Lodge ranges from $200 to $400 per day.
