London Notting Hill Carnival
Over the past fifty years, this event is taking place in the metropolitan area called Notting Hill. This carnival is allocated exactly two days in August. Typically, this is Sunday and Monday.
Notting Hill Carnival's founders are descendants and descendants from the Caribbean. That is, the West Indies. In particular, the main organizers and participants have always been representatives of the Afro-Caribbean diaspora from Trinidad and Tobago. Actually, they are still the backbone of the carnival. Indeed, in the middle of the last century, Notting Hill was inhabited by thousands of people from the Caribbean region. This year, Monday's banking fell on the 25th of August. So, the carnival started on Sunday and only last night ended.
