Park of forged sculptures in Donetsk

In Donetsk, there is a unique open-air museum. It was founded in 2001, when the first 10 figures were installed. A year later, 19 more figures were added to them. Now in the park is presented about 228 songsof different subjects. For the youngest tourists the most interesting is the "Alley of Fairy Tales", for lovers of astrology the exhibition "Signs of the Zodiac" will be interesting, here you can also go "Alley to your favorite city", "Alley of Masters", "Alley of architectural copies" and see many other thematic exhibitions.

Annually, starting in 2005, the park hosts the Forged Work Park Festival. The subject of the event changes annually and everyone who considers himself a master of blacksmithing can bring his work and take part in the festival. The best creations remain in Donetsk as a gift to the city. Townspeople and city guests can not only enjoy the work of the masters, but also pass master classright in the park. Also within the framework of the festival are contests: blacksmith's kitchen, blacksmith's suit and power show. And in the end, there is already a traditional festival "Rock-forge".

Donetsk is the birthplace of blacksmithing and the first among the cities of the former USSR, which was accepted into the international organization of blacksmiths "The Ring of Blacksmith Towns". The park of forged sculptures is a monument to all masters of blacksmithing in Donetsk and throughout Ukraine.
