Jung-ha Kim - Learn how to communicate with children and let them express themselves.

1. When I address people with the proposal indicated in the topic of the lecture, they often reply that you can not earn money especially with creativity, but now you have to study, or work, or educate your children. We usually do not have time for creativity, but there are thousands of reasons why they should not be engaged. Why do we turn our backs on art? Perhaps because we think it's — destiny of only gifted people. I do not think so. We are all from birth — creative people. Those who have children will agree with me. Almost everything a child does — creation. They draw, come up with dances and songs, arrange 'one actor's theater & raquo ;. And some begin to deceive with age. Parents are in vain upset. After all, starting to deceive, children learn to write stories. To lie, you need to come up with something that was not. For example, a child says that on the way home he met an alien. Usually, the mother responds: & laquo; Do not invent nonsense & raquo ;. And ideally it would costI began to ask the child questions: where did he meet the alien, what did he look like? With these questions, you encourage the child to develop a story. So the plot is born, even if it's childishly simple. But we, the writers, are engaged in the same thing: proposing a sentence, we come up with a plot.

2. Example: & laquo; Waking up one morning after a restless sleep, Gregor Zamza discovered that he was in his bed turned into a terrible insect & raquo ;. If Franz Kafka, writing this sentence to his father, he would have thought that his son had gone mad. But, developing this story, Kafka created a masterpiece of world literature. It's like this: to create, you need to go a little crazy, and then come up with an explanation for your delirium. Children are doing almost the same. A child who begins to lie, — this is the first steps writer. Surely you were engaged in art as a child. When I ask students to describe the happiest moments in life, many remember their work as a child — how they fooled around with their friends, depicting someone, or first played the piano in four hands, or showed their first photographed film. Everyone has such memories. What a blessing it was — deal with all this, because it was not work! After all, work usually does not make us happy?

3. French writer Michel Tournier noted: "The work is contrary to human nature. After all, from it we get tired & raquo ;. And it is true, if the work was in our nature, would it have tired us so? That game does not bore us. We can play all night, and not get tired. And if we work all night, we demand a surcharge. After all, the night work exhausts us. And children create for the sake of pleasure, they play. They do not paint the picture in order to sell it, and they play the piano not to feed the family. But, unfortunately, at some point we have to stop engaging in creativity. We start going to school, we need to do homework, and playing piano or dancing too becomes a responsibility. We are forced to do this, plus there is competition — what kind of creativity is there. If you are in primary school, and you decide to paint on the walls, you will fly in from your mother. If, growing up, you will not cease to behave like an artist in childhood, you will experience increasing pressure of others calling youbehave as befits. Unfortunately, the creative personality inside us dies before we learn to fight those who oppress her. It turns out to be locked. It's very sad.

4. When our creativity is locked or destroyed, our creative abilities do not find an outlet. we want to express ourselves, but our creative personality is dead, and the need to create is expressed in strange forms. Someone is singing in karaoke. Others, those who could write stories, all night & laquo; troll & raquo; others on the Internet. Dads collect Lego with more enthusiasm than sons. All this proves that creative impulses are suppressed, but not disappeared. And those who were able to realize, we begin to envy. And not because we are evil, but because in us the unrealized creative personality suffers.

5. What to do about it? Start creating right now. Exit the Internet and do something. Example. I give a special task in my classes. Students come to me, studying painting or music, and thinking that they do not know how to write. I give them sheets of paper and a theme. Maybe it's quite simple: write about the most unfortunate incident that happened in childhood. One condition: you must write very quickly. I walk around the class and encourage them. At a frantic pace, they write for an hour or two. They think only the first five minutes. After all, when you write slowly, there are too many thoughts in your head. The creative devil crawls into the head and whispers reasons why you can not cope: you do not know how to write, nothing will come out, everyone will laugh ... Meanwhile, the best works were written not from home, where there is time to think and concentrate, and in the classroom, at a frenzied pace, for 40-60 minutes. Students are immersed in a kind of trance. Half an hour later they themselves do not understand what they are writing. Exactlythen you can get rid of the obsessive devil. You have to forget a lot of reasons why you should not be creative, and remember one — why it is worth doing. Start creating because you need it. Forget the questions & laquo; why? & Raquo ;, & laquo; for what? & Raquo ;, & laquo; for whom? & Raquo ;. Creativity is the ultimate goal. It heals our souls and brings happiness to our lives.
