Mount Brekkul
Mount Breckul & ndash; an outstanding sight of the Rakhiv district. It is easy to find at the intersection of two regions of Transcarpathian and Ivano-Frankivsk near the village of Luga. It is one of the most important mountain formations, which is often visited in a complex with the highest mountain peak of Ukraine & ndash; Hoverla. The mountains are very close, Breckul is second only to its height, which is 1911 meters.
An unusual name was given, presumably, for its interesting shapes. The name is translated from the Romanian dialect as swelling. The mountain itself, really, very is like a smooth form on something rounded, domed. In some official sources and books it is called Breskul, which is also true.
An important feature of a mountain peak is the vegetation covering the mountain dome. Here you can find dozens of species of alpine and subalpine grasses, flowers and shrubs. Many of them are recognized as the rarest with unusually curative properties. Based on them make healing tinctures, oils, ointments. Also worth paying attention to the lakes of Breckkul, they are in one of the hollows of the mountain and may dry out in the dry summer, to reappear in the autumn or winter.
