Nemyrivsky Monastery
The history of the Nemyrivsky monastery dates back several centuries and dates back to 1645. The structures erected in the 17th century did not last long - they were demolished by the Tatars during their next invasion.
It took a whole century to revive the monastic monastery. Her development was largely promoted by Count Potocki, who presented the restored monastery of the earth and gave his palace to the monastery. A whole legend is connected with this event. It was rumored that the count, who was a Catholic, did not welcome the appearance of an Orthodox monastery in his possessions. But at night he was an elder, demanding to release the palace under a charity institution. The count did not listen to his admonitions. As a result, a miracle happened: one day he woke up in his own bed, taken out into the yard.
During the next century the monastery was upset, building up new buildings. The construction did not stop: the buildings were erected from a brick, which produced a monastic brick factory. There was a Mykolayiv church, a one-story building for residents, a three-tier bell tower. And most importantly - the Trinity Church, which became the dome of the monastery. At the monastery opened a spiritual school for poor girls, which eventually became a parish school. However, with the arrival of the Soviet authorities, everything fell into decay. Church values were confiscated, and the monastery was closed. In the monastery was an orphanage, a school for children with special needs, and a school for agronomists.
The revival of the monastery began only in the 90s of the last century. Today, destroyed monastic cells are repaired, a bell tower is built above the Trinity Church.
