Audrey Hepburn was born on May 4, 1929, in Brussels. She was the only child of John Victor Raston and Baroness Ella Van Heemstra, a Dutch aristocrat whose family included French nobles and English monarchs.2 photos
Her large, hypnotic eyes, slender figure, and clear voice made her stand out as a truly unique actress in an era when Marilyn Monroe’s image was on every refrigerator. Self-assured and delicately fragile, she brought a natural charm to her roles without any effort.
Audrey broke into the film industry in 1948 with small roles in several European and English productions. In 1953, she went to Hollywood to play a princess in "Roman Holiday," for which she won an Oscar, solidifying her newly established stardom.
She was nominated for another Oscar four times thereafter. Her stunning appearance, combined with her acting talent, ensured Audrey Hepburn a dazzling career in both films and show business. Her ability to carry herself with the dignity characteristic of royal blood also played a significant role in her success.
"Roman Holiday," "Unforgiven," "Breakfast at Tiffany's," "My Fair Lady," "How to Steal a Million"... These are just some of the many films in which the beautiful Audrey shone brilliantly.
In 1960, Audrey gave birth to a son named Sean with her husband Mel Ferrer. After their divorce, she married Italian psychiatrist Andrea Dotti in 1968, and they had a son named Luca a year later. In 1976, after a long hiatus, she starred in the British film "Robin and Marian" alongside Sean Connery. Her final film appearance was in Steven Spielberg's "Always."
In her spare time, she dedicated herself to charity and public service, serving as a special ambassador for UNICEF.
Audrey Hepburn passed away from colon cancer at the age of 64 on January 20, 1993, in a small Swiss town near Lausanne.

Cat Leopold is a truly unique cat in no way resembling those that live without owners. His most prominent trait is his intelligence, which defines him as a character.
