Today, the headquarters of Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company are located in Chicago. The company was founded in 1891 when William Wrigley Jr. started selling soap. He never imagined that his business would become famous thanks to chewing gum.

To increase the popularity of his products, William began including various souvenirs with them, such as a packet of baking powder. This souvenir became so popular that he decided to start selling baking powder as well. Eventually, he decided to produce chewing gum himself. Chewing gum soon became more popular than his other products, and William decided to focus on this business.

William took risks and launched new brands such as Juicy Fruit and Wrigley's Spearmint in 1893. Despite fierce competition, the company survived and even managed to avoid bankruptcy several times. Thanks to William's perseverance, the company grew and became successful.

After the war, Wrigley's continued to expand its production and introduced new brands. Today, it owns many world-famous chewing gum brands, including Orbit and Hubba Bubba.
