Let's start with the circle. Divide it in half.
Next, draw a curved line that represents the contour of the eyes.
Divide each of these eye lines into three sections; the middle section indicates the approximate position of the eyes.
Now, determine the width of the lips by drawing vertical lines. Also, mark the inner boundaries of the ears.
Next, draw the nose and mouth. Divide the lower part of the central line in half—it will form the upper edge of the nose. Divide the distance from the central line to the lip edges in half as well, and mark the position of the nose tip.
Notice that the corners of the mouth should lie within the original circle.
Outline the eyes; they don’t need to be very large—their size should be smaller than the distance you have marked for them.
Draw the ears; their shape resembles that of a domestic cat’s ears.
Finally, place the eyes in their eye sockets.
Outline the cheeks and add details to the nose such as fur on the nose bridge and black spots on the lips (these are characteristic features of a puma). Also, draw whiskers.
