All the movements taking place on the Tisza River were in the palm of those who owned estates that had been formed on the Horn Mount for centuries.

The most important artery of the Middle Ages, passing along the river Tisa, stretched for a kilometer from the Husky castle. From the north, the mountain was surrounded by the Khustitsa River, which in turn fell into the Tisza, near the Husky Gates. The paths of the Tatar and Tornous passes crossed there, they passed through the Carpathians. A lonely, elevated mountain was perfectly suited for the construction of the Chust castle.Steep slopes of the mountain even a small fortress were transformed into an impregnable fortification.
