Kurenivsky Park, Kiev

In Podolsky district of Kiev, in the triangle of Elena Teligi streets, Frunze and Moskovsky prospect, there is a small green zone. Before the 1917 revolution, there was a brick factory, and after the Second World War - workshops and the railway station "Kurenivka." However, all this was destroyed by the mudflow from Babi Yar in 1961, at the same time the residential area was demolished, hundreds of people were killed.

To restore the station after the tragedy did not, and at this place was defeated  Park Frunze, later renamed Kurenivsky.

In 2000 the park was reconstructed. Now it is neat, well-groomed, well lit in the dark. Here you will find everything for recreation with children, and even more. In addition to children's playgrounds, which you will not be surprised with,  in the Kurenevsky park there is a children's motor-cars. Here everything is real, as in adults, but only smaller in size: roads with markings and signs, intersections, junctions. Children can ride a car, learn the rules of the road.

There is a Georgian restaurant in the park.  beautiful fountain. Also in the park is the Concert Hall "FreeDom" club.
