The Annunciation Church, Town

The town is one of those places that are buried in the green and fresh water in the summer, and in the winter they are covered with snow. Like any city of Prykarpattya, there are charming landscapes, many different religious buildings and a special color. In the north side of the city, on the high ramparts where the pond is located, the church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary rises.

The small town is one of those places that are buried in the greenery and river freshness in summer, and in the winter they are covered with snow. Like any city of Prykarpattya, there are charming landscapes, many different religious buildingsand a special color.

In the north side of the city, on the high ramparts where the pond is located, the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary rises. A long time ago there was a wooden church, transferred in 1547 from a small suburb of Gorodok. The Blagoveshchensky temple received its modern appearanceas a result of numerous reconstructions. The current stone building exists since the 18th century. It should be noted that the composition of this church is almost identical to that built a little earlier than the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin in Lviv. The building is one of the best examples of the Renaissance architecture of Ukraine. Near the church in the beginning of the 20th century a bell tower was erected, next to which there is a sculpture of the Virgin.
