The unusual name of the lake is associated with an ancient legend. According to legend, one Kiev pilgrim dropped his silver bucket into the creek of Palestine. And after returning home, I found him at the bottom of my native lake. Since then, residents began to believe that Kiev is connected with Jerusalem by an underground river, and the lake became a place of pilgrimage.
Today the Jordan lake is a worthy alternative to country rest and an ideal place for fishing.
