Chocolate house (Mogilevtsev's Mansion)
Chocolate house is a favorite place for Kyivans and guests of the city. Its name is due to the design and color of the facade- indeed this building is like a work of chocolate.
The house of chocolate is a two-story mansion of the Kiev merchant Semen Mogilevtsev. It was built in the early 20th century with elements of the Renaissance palace architecture, the author of the project - Vladimir Nikolaev. The interiors of the halls are made in a wide variety of architectural styles, here are baroque (white hall), modern, renaissance, Russian, Moorish and other styles. The walls and ceiling of the Chocolate House are decorated with stucco, paintings, Venetian mirrors, beautiful windows on the windows.

Today there is a permanent exhibition of children's paintings, art criticism lectures, classical music evenings.
