Monument to businessman

On Ekaterinoslavsky Boulevard in Dnepropetrovsk is one of the most extraordinary monuments of the city. The bronze figure of the famous Dnepropetrovsk businessman Gennady Ilyich Axelrod was established in 2007, even during his lifetime. The author of the monument is the sculptor Alexander Shabanov.

It is not known for certain who initiated the creation of the monument, but the businessman sitting on the bench is very popular, passers-by like to be photographed with him.
