Stanislav Ludkiewicz Museum
The museum of Stanislav Ludkevich, an outstanding Ukrainian composer, is, of course, in his beloved Lviv. The museum was set up in 1996, in the same house where the maestro lived and worked.
And the building, and the archive of this well-known musicologist, teacher and folklorist, was transferred to the museum by his wife. Thanks to this, the situation was preserved in its original form. On the facade of the building there is a memorial plaque in honor of Stanislav Ludkevich.
The composer lived a long life - until the 101st anniversary was not enough just a couple of months. In his work he preferred to combine the Ukrainian national style with European romanticism. Often chose for his musical interpretations works of famous poets and writers of Ukraine
