Church of St. Anthony of Padua in Old Kotelno
The old Russian town of Staraya Kotelnya, located in the Zhytomyr region, can be recognized thanks to the church of St. Anthony of Padua. The church was built by Antony Pruszynski in the 18th century, in honor of the famous preacher - Franciscan Antonius, who involved unbelievers in Christian faith, was a defender of wandering and distressed, as well as a patron of family relations.
The church of St. Anthony is built in the late European Baroque style. It impresses with its architectural perfection. Its facade is decorated with columns of an ionic warrant. Nearby the temple are the remains of the bell tower and stone fence.
To date, the church is a Roman Catholic church.
