Branicki Palace, Rudoye Village

His owner was the Crown Hetman Francis Xavier Branicki. He also founded the Alexandria park in the White Church. Today the building in Rudom Selo is in a sorry state and continues to deteriorate.

The two-storeyed building of the palace is built in the style of classicism and has a rectangular shape. Due to the fire that happened in 1994, many wonderful decor elements died, as well as the entire decoration of the palace. From the pernicious flame, only the pediment and facade, which is decorated with plaster moldings, as well as parts of the colonnade and a single-storey wing, managed to escape. At the very beginning of the alley, which leads to the palace, part of the spectacular front door to the residence was partially preserved. In a rather neglected and abandoned state there is also a park, which once served as a decoration of a magnificent manor. Unfortunately, at the present time one can only guess about the past splendor and splendor of the remarkable construction of past centuries.
